Opportunity for Project Service Head – Teheran

An International Oil Company is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Project Service Head for there operation based in Tehran

Work activities may include, but shall not be limited to the following roles & responsibilities:

  1. General

Advisory role to the Project Services Head of Department

  • Ensure that the Project scheduling, planning, reporting, document control and IT framework and systems meet the project objectives and comply with the Company’s policy and industry best practice.

  1. Key Responsibilities

Advisory role to the Project Services Head of Department

  • Ensure that the systems and resources are in place for accurately tracking, recording and reporting on project progress, committed funds.
  • Provide leadership in planning, scheduling and reporting for the management and technical teams of the project.
  • Coordinate the project level reporting and centralize the function of project document control.
  • Coordinate the process of WPB preparation, submission and obtaining approvals. (Note: budget preparation will be centralized in F&A dept).
  • Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to health and safety and quality management.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, subordinates, and supervisors.
  • Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality and personal appearance.
  • Review and provide personal development skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of Department Staff.

8. Accountability

Advisory role to the Project Services Head of Department

  • Provide Project planning services (schedule, progress measure, reporting, etc.) and initiate appropriate interventions to support successful delivery of the Project.
  • Timely and accurate progress measurement reports.
  • Timely and quality advisory function provided to management on project strategy, economic analysis.
  • Timely approvals for WPB to keep operation under approved budget to its maximum.

9. Minimum Requirements

Education

  • BS degree in technical or business area. Engineering is a preference.

Qualifications

  • 10 years of Project Management experience, with preference to major projects.
  • Experience in Project Services, Project Controls, or Engineering in upstream oil and gas industry.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft software, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Proficiency with MS Access and MS Project a plus.
  • Strong commitment to Health, Safety, and Environment.
  • Languages
  • Operations language is English.
  • Experience
  • Experience with Primavera, Hyperion Planning and other Project Documentation software.
  • Arabic Speaker Preferred

experienced individual to join our Pipeline Engineering team in Abu
Dhabi as follow :

Process Engineer (PE)

• Minimum 7 – 15 years of experience
• Degree Qualified
• Oil & gas is a must, preferably with pipelines experience
• Experience of running standard industry software for liquid
and gas systems, particularly pipelines and pipeline networks.
• Able to produce P&ID’s, PFD’s, comprehensive fluid flow and
hydraulic reports
• Experience of conceptual studies, FEED and detailed design an
advantage.
• Ability to work in a team environment supporting other
project disciplines
• Experience of Hazop, CHazop, HAZID and SIL assessments an
advantage.
• Familiar with relevant international codes like API, ASME,

Senior Pipeline Engineer (SPE)

Duties Include:
• Take technical responsibility for the execution of work in
projects;
• Ensure that the objectives for the project team assigned by
Project Manager are implemented
• Implement project plans required by the J P Kenny Ltd
Operating Procedures as directed by the Project Manger;
• Support the Project Manager in motivating the project team
towards successful achievement of specified project goals;
• Support the Project Manger in the preparation of reports on
the progress and cost of the project;
• Take responsibility for the correctness and quality of
technical work executed;
• Coordinate and supervise the drafting team and review
drawings to ensure correctness and quality;
• Any other duties as required

be noted that each person has a responsibility for the safety and
quality aspects of the work that they undertake. Any questions or
concerns relating to HSE and/or the QMS should be brought to the

 Pipeline Crossing method selection and its design.
 Pipeline wall thickness design and report
 Pipeline stability design detailed report including
calculations and Concrete coating schedule.
 Pipeline Stress analysis
 Material Selection for pipeline items
 Anti-corrosion coatings selection
 Technical Data sheets for Pipeline items.
 Interface with other discipline engineers during design
development and subsequent review of engineering deliverables through
inter-disciplinary squad checks.
 Assist project engineer in resolution of engineering issues.
 Participate in Design Reviews, Risk Assessment, HAZOP and Constructability reviews.
 Support the project engineer in developing project documents such as EPC packages, Project Design Specifications, etc.
 Man-hour estimation skills.
 Offshore Experience will be an added advantage

Experience and Qualification
 University or college graduate in Mechanical or Civil/ Structural Engineering. Masters degree in relevant discipline shall be considered an added qualification.
 More than 8 years experience in Onshore Oil and Gas Field.
 Proficiency in the use of general computer softwares such as MS Office, MathCad etc.
 Good command of written and spoken English.
